My poor old #4 disc is getting very battered , do you know if they can be re-surfaced , or can i still get the sim new ?

Just an idea...After you load it up again, take it ti the local video store. Give 'em a couple of bucks to resurface it. They do the same to the well used movie DVDs.
Or just keep your eye on trade me. Cheers

Some years ago, after reading an article by David 'Opa' Marshall, I followed his advice and created a DVD which has a backup of all 4 FS9 CDs plus the Fs9 >FS9.1 update and the no-CD patch for FS9.1

Have you thought about making an image of the disc and just mounting it when you want to install?

I don't think I ever really used the CD in the tray with FS9. Didn't one of the updates negate the need for the disc?

Took almost 18 months before the no CD patch was released , it was a real pain in the butt if you had data on another CD , big thing is i treated the disk like gold and now many many year on it still works like clockwork tho many addons and even the real world has changed so much .
