I have the Majestic Dash Professional one,..most excellent mate,..stays in my FSX Hangar permanently its about as close as you will get to the real machine at the moment. Solid accurate Exterior , good(not excellent) VC with most switches etc usuable for their correct functions its just the flat unmodelled switches and gauges and same inside/outside sounds that let it down. But in saying that if you fly her by the book it is extremely satisfying. I have not been able to get the default FSX GPS to work with the Nav in the autopilot but thats not too much of an issue (although it would be nice !).

PMDG was very quick in getting the Beech 1900C/D class out , maybe they want to keep the prestige with/off quality , but many forget the 747 on release was considered rubbish by most due to the Level-D 767 as far as systems were concerned , would be better maybe to use and follow the same build and design effort as they have done , the 747 Version 4 is a great example .

Bought this yesterday as it was pouring rain and I decided to have a day of flying around the virtual skies.

Bloody excellent is all I can say. Zero impact on frame rates yet excellent levels of detail. I have been looking for something to fill the gap between the PMDG Jetstream (which I love) and the 737 NGX, this fits the bill nicely.

I really enjoy the flight model, it makes you work hard and feels "heavy", certainly not an aeroplane you can just jump in and fly without some planning and effort. The learning curve is much like the Jetstream was, the first few times I tried to fire that up I literally set fire to the engnes, the Q400 isnt quite so flammable but still requires a good knowledge to start up properly. Great fun.

The visuals inside and out are excellent and getting extra nice bits such as the WX radar, terrain, TCAS, cabin announcements (love the music) and FMC really add to the overall realism.

Now to find a nice NZ livery for those regional flights.
