Hey mates.
We're having some interesting weather over here.
If you feel like having some real weather experience in FS try EDBG EDBC or EDBM, weather is going east, so it might reach EDDT/EDDB as well for some IFR flying.
Hurry up!

Thanx Kiwi currently my real world weather doing a funky chicken at the mo and i have not had chance to get it sorted , guess your real world weather for the PC would far more accurate than the NZ as we only have three primary weather reading stations here .

I love 'em, I sit next to the window like a kid in front of a christmas tree. Still a kid over here!

Just for your information, my English is going to be precious soon! And watch out I might have a term abroad in nz.

Good chance to try my(newish) ASE!
Found a fast - moving storm cell well east of Magdeburg, so assume all is in order!

Oops it's meant to be night time, isn't it??

Thanks! I considered a nighttime shot as there was plenty of lightning, but none when I pressed the key...
I've been quite impressed with the ASE weather engine; when I look out the window and see interesting atmospherics, I often start the sim for a look.

This would be the first time I've had real-world corroboration, halfway round the globe!
Great stuff...

With your electrical storm made me think about the goody we had in Wobblyville couple years back , watching it incoming as i do, had a neighbour coming back from the shops just as it was starting to rain , ....this chap is funny , a little mentally challenged , he asked what i was doing so i told i watch these storms and enjoy studying the lighting and all hell breaking loose ...... what made me laugh so much was David putting his cans of baked beans on the drive 30 or so feet away from us ...... he then came across and went on to say he also like to watch the storm himself ... cool.gif think he was more interested in what i was pointing out and showing the movement of the clouds and cold front racing in .....

I asked him why did he put his cans bake beans half way down the driveway .... he then said " 'Metal' lightning chases you if you hold on to metal cans " ...... laugh.gif .... I then said to Dave , Cripes if the lightning is a going strike those cans of baked beans we'd be both thrown out on the street and eating them as well ... Shite it was funny laugh.gif
