I think your right Ian , the only one Ive seen was at Wanaka transport museum years ago. I remember going inside it and making my way to the cockpit ..... in the half light of the hanger you could see a lot of the instruments glowing . Would have been interesting to wave a rad meter over the panel unsure.gif
Not sure if its still there or not , i do recall a poor old auster full of bird nests , and "flew the coup" (loadstar) slowly rotting outside..... sad when think about all the restoration going on just over the fence.

I saw a An-2 at an open day at North Shore airfield back in '96, red white and blue, I'm sure there is a photo in an album somewhere

EJ , Think it would be better off with a Southland Scenic Lakes scheme on it - little slow and range lacking to even ply our airways , i could here the kids in the back saying "are we there yet , are we there yet , are we there yet , are we there yet " tongue.gif

Oddly enough i believe there is an update or build by Sibwings with the spray gear ... seem to be the ultimate aircraft due to its payload but maybe not as spritely as your standard AG types ... maybe they have bigger paddocks in eastern Europe .
