Don't see why we need list MPs at all, we could achieve the exact same proportional balance in the voting at virtually zero cost (so a huge saving) and have no risk of any losers who couldn't get elected jumping ship then not resigning by simply giving each party a certain number of list votes that their leader can use when voting on things.

I've done a few security jobs and have similar 's ask me the same question. Security staff just love jumped up 's - normally also middle aged businessman types. Rock concerts are just brilliant once they get a few drinks in them.

"Do you know who I am?" - My favourite reply is normally - I do know you're someone who doesn't have the right pass. Then it gets better when they ask to speak to the Supervisor and I get to point out I am the Supervisor.

I bet the poor waiter is feeling really sympathetic clapping.gif

Was interesting to see he has a history of this behaviour.
Testers are born to fiddle. What does this button do? Oh! Never mind.....

At the ITM400 one year Race Director Steve Vuleta put a "no children in pit lane" rule in place, then one of our Pit Lane Marshals saw him with his entourage of senior meeting officials bringing his own children in for a look, so in he waded - this is the guy who tried to throw Helen Clark out of the A1GP pits because she wasn't wearing properly closed shoes so Steve being merely the guy in charge of the whole race meeting didn't cut much ice with him ... Steve tried the "Do you know who I am" line and was rather taken aback when our guy replied "yes I do, do you know who I am ?" There was a moments silence then Steve said no he didn't and our guy said "I'm the Marshal you put here to enforce your No Children in Pit Lane rule - so if you wouldn't mind please ..... " Barely concealed hilarity ensued among the entourage of senior officials, and Steve meekly took his children out of Pit Lane.

I like happy endings :-)
