If anyone is bored or has a spare 11 minutes and 40 seconds, then I have put a few video clips together on youtube. Direct from the camera, so no editing done at all yet, but some great landings in strong winds, and also a few overshoots. Taken at the mecca for aircraft photos, Funchal airport in Madeira. I will post lots of good still photos later, but for now, just sit back and enjoy

Airbus and Boeing (including a 757), several overshoots, some good wing flexing on the 737 and a windy approach by the SATA Q300.

smooth landings.

never seen so many overshoots and missed approaches before, could have filmed all day and each one was different. Missed the best landing video though, as I had the camera set on 'photo' instead of video. The one that got away.

Here is one that did not escape the camera though.

also caught in the viewfinder was the weekly 737 800 from Oslo

smooth landings.

Love the video- that Thompsonfly 757 with winglets looks awesome!

Weird seeing the A320's fitted with CFM56 engines too, we don't get those down here. Odd looking reversers!
