Airstrip locations Orbx NZ SI

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby ScottyB » Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:17 am

Hi everyone,

Is there any place I can find all the airstrip locations for Orbx NZ South Island?

If I remember rightly, there was a map that had all the VLC strips on it floating around - anything similar for Orbx?

Cheers

FlightSim commander 9 also shows where's all the fields are

But if your using plan g, dieter has done a great job with all the data

Does anyone know if there's a similar thing for the North Island yet?

The NZNI download seems to be missing the file with the airstrips.

you need to do a data update within plan g , when you do that, plan g will search all the afcad bgls in the nzni folder and automatically add them, thats why dieter never added them as it would be double handling for both parties

How does that work though, as the unlisted airstrips don't have bgls as far as I'm aware, they're just textures drawn on the scenery like roads and so forth?

just like the NZSI there are several fields that are unlisted where you cant start from, there are fields that have a gps pos that can be used as a reference

very similar to the files that where made for OZX, where FSC and PG use the location Bgls and show the positions

@ rocky, the download works fine, i just tried it
