Glad you liked it ..... Ian there is another one i would love to get... do you remember one about a Constellation ? Similar to the B-29 but with a happy ending . From memory the guy who flew it out had really long hair (if that helps) also recall one about bringing the QANTAS 707 home .....

Yip , got that doco , good friend in the USA sent me that one , lotta Connie documentary's and one base on his experience's - Don was a wizzo in the backseat of a WV-2/EC121K for the US Navy and he also flew on the on both VX6 Connie's between Barbers Point Hawaii to the US many times , great watching the old 1965/8 stuff and Vietnam footage in the Gulf of Tonkin .

Hi Splitpin

That was a great watch. what a waste of someones life and a great aircraft. I wasn't even working on it and even i felt real sad to see it come to an end like that.

Cool! Thanks for the link to this. I have read the book Hunting Warbirds, which is a great read and details this mission to Iceland I think. I'll watch the video later, no time right now, but sounds to me like the very same thing. Cheers!!!
