''Your computer has run out of available memory, please restart Flight simulator and select different graphics, scenery, or traffic settings''
So i tried this - i turned everythibng right to the minimum but it still came up with the same message, the computer seems to run FSX fine most of the time i'm getting 30-40FPS I just cant use real world weather - i cant see how it could run out of memory - it has 4GB of RAM
Please help
Cheers
Terry

A pagefile will show you the specs of your PC , your problem dose sound like a lack of memory , have you tried the Trike and see if the real world weather works , your aircraft addons maybe outstretching the systems resource .

AMD Athlon II X2 240 Processor 3.0 GHZ
4.00GB of RAM

Just going back to this I now have FSX reinstalled but it still wont do Real world weather - it still says its run out of memory I am at the maximum amount of RAM I can have I'm just wondering once I'v got my New Corsair PSU installed real world weather will work?'All things are possible to him that believes'

Have you got it set up correctly.
Here is a guide which I found very helpful.

Especially the slider settings partway through the page.
Yeah aside from the weather the only other issue is changing views it stutters a bit when changing, otherwise I am getting 50+ FPS!'All things are possible to him that believes'
ZKIWI wrote:QUOTE (ZKIWI @ Mar 24 2013,3:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>What program are you trying to load the real world weather through? Just the FSX Jeppersen weather or using Squawkbox or FSInn or some other program?
It does sound as if you are running out of resources. What are your full system specs? CPU, RAM, HDD, Graphics Card etc.
Have you tried Googling the error message and see if there is anything out there that explains/corrects the issue? Try this link.

how do you tell where its loading the real world weather from?

I would be checking out the paging file section of the link that ZKIWI gave you and if that fails then start checking what other applications and/or processes are running at the same time.
I've known people to set their page file to a smaller size as they think it improves the performance of their computer but this usually causes problems later on when they run out of RAM space.Last edited by scaber on Sun Mar 24, 2013 4:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.![]()

Are you loading the weather from within Flightsim or using another program? ( i.e. set to real work or to user in the weather menu of FSX).
I suspect it is probably your pagefile being corrupt but with only a 300w PS i think your system may be pushing the limits of that power supply.

If you think that your Sim is the Bees-knees running at 50+ FPS....
..but stutters badly at various locations, I would strongly recommend that you "Lock" your Frame rates to 20-25 FPS maximum, to achieve overall; "smoothness"...
Anything more (Unlimited) is just a waste of computer resources!
Frame Rates locked at 20 FPS is a sensible requirement for Pilots in Multiplayer Sessions....for obvious reasons!
Paul....FS 2004....and Smooth......!
