Went out this morning with a cobber in a Robin/Alpha from Hamilton to Tauranga return. Lovely day for it, cloud was plenty high enough but gave good cover from the sun, and no wind which made for smooth flying all the way.

I away like aerial photos specificly because of doing autogen , keeps that real feel understanding or whats in you mind how it should look .... that ground certainly is dry ... spot of rain and repeat that very flight be amazed to see the quick change in colour .

That Stearman might get some attention when get it re-installed

yeah was really surprised how much greener it was on the Tauranga side of the Kaimais. Things are dry as a bone in the Waikato at present

What a great aircraft the Robin is. And I see that Aerosoft has recently released a model of it too, so I will have to add that to the hangar. Good, clean looking cockpit in the Robin too.

Smooth landings.

Hey Jerry. Yeah she's a great machine. The Aerosoft one though is a different model (the 400 series). If anyone's interested in the Alpha/Robin there's an FSX model from PAD following, even has a NZ default livery for Hamilton based CTC: http://www.premaircraft.com/robin_alpha_FSX/index.html
