Congrads on your new four people mobile smile.gif

Still a way to go Ian ... note there is no door handle on the drivers door ... that will be a job and a half by itself. But IF I can get it all legal by airshow time ....there is room for you thumbup1.gif

That model (more so the 528i) was regarded as one the best salons at any price available at that time...but as some have mentioned they aren't cheap to reapair or as reliable as a Jap car.

I had a workmate some years ago who had to replace a 5 series computer and that cost about $3000...hate to think what it would cost now.

unsure.gif Dont scare me Naki ..... maybe i will grab whatever i can from the other one. I wont be using it much , i still have the old 289,00OK corolla , and an 89 TX5 telstar. And i just inherited a 99 prelude from a departing flatmate ..... jeez, i need more room.
May end up selling the ford, and the other two, and sinking the money into a later model japanese car.
