I'll be the first to admit that this was real easy to do after the Wandering Witch, but I thought you'd like it anyway...

COOL ! have a photo here from Charles Darby's book 'RNZAF the first decade 1937-46' basking in the sun at Lauthala Bay Fiji in 1943 obviously just changed hands - still has some old Royal Navy markings on it . Best i add this to the fleet .. thanks JK

I may do the paint from the other squadrons as well later, but first another paint, but now for a US Navy bird:



which in real life was used to pick up survivors off the Greenland icecap, setting down on the snow...

The Cat book i have here is the peacetime record , did you have the Bu No. be interest to find out if the hulls were strengthened for this operation , another great paint to add . cool.gif

No, I don't think it was strengthened, but it was BuNo 7277 that they landed on the ice with.

I goofed with the registration on the Naughty Nine, it should be XX-N, so that is now corrected.
Both paints are now on Ozx, for you Cat lovers.

Cheers thanks JK for that cool.gif I scan the photo here , maybe of interest of to you if you already have it of 'M' NZ4011 which still had the RAF serial on the fin XJ235 .

On search of the previous Cat .. the now plow .. still have not found the aircraft , find most Bu.No. are 5 digits .
