BSMP Metroliner

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

After seeing that RAZBAM will be releasing a Metro in the future, it got me thinking about what ever happened to Dan's BSMP Metro. The beta shots I saw back in 2010 looked very promising, but as we rapidly approach 2013 I haven't seen anything else!

I notice Dan hasn't been on NZFF since 2010. Does this organisation exist anymore? Anyway, if anybody has any info on it would be glad to hear.

It looks like their website is still there, but the most recent forum activity from 2010 indicates that many of the members seem to have become occupied with real world commitments, and it looks like it died back in 2010.

I'm sure we'll have an absolutely excellent Metro from Razbam in a few months...

Hey Ben
Are you after info or after the plane? I have a feeling that Dan sent me a beta version in the past, might have to see if I can find it if you want it. I know the "Adam" who posted the cockpit photos in that thread, and I have a feeling he may even have a beta version of the model I could get for you. Or maybe someone else in this forum have a copy somewhere. I think I remember seeing screenshots from Trolly before here of it. Failing that I am friends with Dan on facebook. So we could possibly find it for you if that's what you wanted?

Think you may have to wait for the RAZBAM model , Dan's probable off doing his Gaming with his well modeled and painted scale soldiers and the entire divisions and groups readying to storm Wellington Pal ..pali . the BeeHive ... Cripes and they call me a Warmonger rolleyes.gif

Sorry Mattyman, I tried my contacts (other than Dan) and hunted high and low on my hard drive, I wasn't able to find it. Hopefully as Ian says, the razbam won't be far away. Sure it's payware, but I think it's really looking to be worth it from the pictures I've seen.

I know you guys are looking looking for the BSMP model but just in case anyone didn't know there is an old Mike Stone a/c with some local liveries that is quite flyable. There's a pretty decent panel available too by Eirikur Adalsteinsson with Jon Murchison's view files bundled with it. Here's a pic of the model in an Air Nelson livery, some of us in Virtual Air New Zealand have been buzzing about in it during our retro-event this last month or so...

hey guys,

only just saw this thread again, thanks for all the info. Was after the plane itself Alister, but turns out I may as well just wait for the Razbam one. It's always hard going from payware back to freeware, so hopefully the Razbam wont disappoint.

Just checked it and sorry it does not work in FSX although there is VCockpit01, 02, 03 and 04 in the panel cfg but nothing pointing to the cockpit in the texture folder finished up with no Cockpit at all sad.gif

Wow was lurking trying to remember the good old days and fell upon this thread, the project never made it off the ground as I always wanted to release it with a purpose made panel but panel designers are too few and far between so abandoned the whole scene a while back (career took over unfortunately). I am thinking of getting back into it and build a nive cockpit set up at home then re sign up with VATSIM if I do then I will probably polish up the loose ends on the metro and release as is then maybe worry about a VC later.

Long time since hearing from you Dan.
Some of us are still enjoying the original version.

oops yeah my faux pas there. It is Mike Stones and it was the BSMP Saab 2000 I was confusing it.
