Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Yob » Thu Dec 13, 2012 3:19 pm

Hi guys i have come to a decision, Do i Get the warbirdsim Little friends package II or Happy Jacks go Buggy. Or from Vertigo Studios the F6F hellcat or the FW 190 from Classics or the P-40 Kittyhawk from A2A

Please provide pictures and reasons why one is better then another one.

Thanks Elijah

Yeah I have 'em all except the Happy Jacks one, all are very nicely done. Plenty of pics out there on the web really. Just a personal preference for which style you like I reckon.

They are all good .... anything from WBS is really good.

If you read the details on each of those sites you'll know whats what.

Happy Jacks go buggy comes as part of the WBS first or second set of stangs.....

Your choices are all prop-driven fighters. Start with the "Little Friends" from Warbirdsim.

Anything A2A is a country mile ahead if you get the accusim pack. Nothing beats it.

Hey Elijah, how does one get copies of those fabulous repaints you have shots of on the FASA website? Do we need to sign up for FASA?
What are you guys using for multiplay now that MS servers are down?

ah yea,..theres no essay..or shining shoes I was being sarcastic,...we have a huge amount of knowledge between our members here who are happy to lend advice and opinions on addons for flightsim , you just have to ask the right way..and to be fair if you search the NZFF's threads using the "search" button in the top right corner of the menu bar you will find the answers to most of your questions.

I recall on setup you have specific texture sheet loading either the 2048 or the 4096 , from the what you are saying your g/card is limited , reinstall on the lower settings .
