I've been thinking of buying a wireless headset for multiplay. Which one should I get?
Cheers.

Thanks, Ian. I've a Logitech keyboard, but my PC technician installed it in a way to avoid unnecessary software files. Assume Logitech headsets also come with "overambitious" software.

I use a Logitech H600 and have found it to be pretty good. The only problem is when starting something like TeamSpeak and forgetting to switch the headset on first in which case if hooks up my webcam microphone so I sound all tiny and far away.
The other thing is that I did need to download some pairing software from Logitech to get it to hook up the first time. The 'manual' made no mention of this so you might need to be aware of this. It also hooks up to the bluetooth on my cell phone so that's a little bonus for listening to music!
The range is limited to about 10m but that is more than enough to allow me to make coffee while chatting!![]()

I'm using a Logitech wireless headset, (H800) which I got here.....
http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XH0706/log...ss-headset-h800
and its been performing flawlessly for at least the last 12months.
What I love about these things is that they also connect to Bluetooth Devices.
I get about 5 hrs use on a full charge
I am not that concerned about radiation as its only used several times a week
for short periods on multiplayer.
While not being an expert on these matters, I believe that as its only
transmitting( in my case) about 500mm to the USB reciever, that the power output is miniscule,
probably much less that the average mobile phone.
Cheers

Oh..thanks. Maybe they're ok for multiplay, then. Could be some concern for a receptionist, though, using it for longer sessions.
