Nah the E models are rubbish. You want a C with a C20b. Much nicer to fly.

Nick , was is the C20b modification ?

The early C models came out with a C18. The later ones were fitted with a C20 but its a fairly simple thing to swap the engines over. C20b in a C model has a fair amout of power.

Is there any real significant between the 'Y' tail and 'T' D variant you have noticed ?

From what I've heard the only reason the tail was changed was for looks. Everyone I've talked to reckon the C tail is much better. I know the C is lighter on the controls and easier to fly.
As for the 520N, I reckon it looks pretty ugly. I do like the 530F though.

Btw, I have plenty of photos of helicopters but only a few in the bush and they're only R22s and they arnt really in the bush.

Always the looks .. mind you i do like the T's .. must be all those to see , C the Y s .. for the people who want a C with a Y , just search for Tim 'Piglet' Conrad at Flightsim.com

Im enjoying my new found re interest in helicopters haha.
Also any ideas of the running costs of a 500?

Yeh thats pretty much it. The other thing is that the 530 has an E model fuselage but has shorter blades and of course the C30. For some reason they have never put a bigger fuel tank as standard so whereas in a C model you get two hours before you hit the reserve, in the F model you only get just under an hour and a half. The power output on that C30 though is amazing.
