I will be too in about 2 months time. CTCs "Clearways" accomodation facility has been contacted asking them to encourage CPL holders to join LinkedIn and then join the AirNZ Careers and Alumni group. They are definitely actively looking for good pilots it seems.

Actually Nick .. I was thinking about making an authentic PPL/CPL printing it , i have the gift of the gab , many tens off thousands of hours flying and just follow the trend , civil construction engineer who was also noted as a Commercial Pilot , a medical student playing doctor up north and course the historical chief of broadcasting all the way from Canada with his fake CEO diploma earning hundreds of thousands , now all i need is a tailor to make me a uniform . ninja.gif ... i'd be a shoe in biggrin.gif

Yeh no worries mate, the NZ CPL looks like it was knocked up one night on the computer after a few beers. If you can talk the talk, you'd be sweet. Airliners fly themselves anyway.

Good job GB. Definitely echos what I've heard so far- tough interview, knocking back 2000+ hr current multi IFR pilots and giving starts to 500hr pilots with bugger all multi and certainly no multi crew.

Thanks mate, i have bugger all multi as well but its based on an overall picture of how you do on a combination of several things. I know guys with heaps of multi if r time who didn't get in because the standard should have been better in the sim test it really is an attitude thing and to a certain extent how well you go over the 2 days
