OK, I've been busy:
There's still a few things to sort, any comments so far?

Wow - that was FAST!!!!!

Great to see someone get the orientation of the kiwi roundels correct too!

Without actually seeing this one - but based on a couple of the included Carenado liveries - I'd say they over-did it a tiny bit on the shine. If I were to do the repaint (and I'm glad I'm not laugh.gif) I'd have tweaked down a fraction.

Really looking forward to this one!! thumbup1.gif

Phil , reading forums at SOH .. there is a hot key - maybe shift+1 with different settings , one showing windscreen reflect and other hi detail , bottom of the list is Winglets

Nice one, Jan Kees, perhaps finally the one to match the Aeroworx model!
One thing, if I remember, the "Danger" script on the nose is black with red edge, very distinctive.
Also, the split windscreen pillar seems to have gotten lost.

Fabulous stuff Jan. Thanks for the quick work. thumbup1.gif

Oh, and if you do make the tweaks Charl points out you might wanna look at the alignment of the two textures on the port side where the "Royal New Zealand Air Force" text is below the windows. The "A" in "Zeal" is split by quite a few pixels.

Yeah, Shift-5 actually. Haven't checked but I wonder how much different the instrument and window reflections make to FPS

Phil , i'm currently holding off buying due to a F-86 in the wings and also the A4 is not that far away ... this from Virtavia , not sure the developers but it looks it will suit me , Walters Beech has to take a back seat at the mo .... hey maybe really try on the next CARENADO sponsored screen shot offer .... try a little harder biggrin.gif

A *huge* thank-you to Jankees clapping.gif notworthy.gif groupwave.gif cheers1.gif ... we're truly honoured to have JK do another Kiwi repaint for us ... and so blindingly fast, too!!

An early morning start from NZWP ... over the curiously shaped NZNI Rangitito ...

... and this time without the winglets ...

I usually prefer winglets on the bigger jetliners, but I think they look a bit silly on the B200 ... looks much more stylish without them.

Give this man a Kiwi Oscar!!!

For an aircraft of this type 'Winglets' i think were added for the yuppies .. no real use .. would have been better off with the wing tip tanks of some military variants . cool.gif

Winglets cost money in extra climb fuel, but once you're up there the reduced cruise fuel will more than pay for the extra climb fuel - if you go far enough for the savings to overtake the cost.

So they make perfect sense for long haul tubeliners, and presumably also would make sense for a B200 that was mainly used for long distance stuff.

(but it still looks better without !)

ps Adam, Carenado should pay you commission on the planes they sell based on those shots !

using shift 4 (or 5?) you can make the winglets disappear.
Could you show me a pic of the missing pixels in the 'A', I thought I had aligned them?
As for the danger signs, it was not clear on the pics I used, but I thought they were black, sorry.
Besides, being colorblind does not help either, I see very little red as it is anyway.
I may do an update, but that will have to wait until Friday at least, I'm away from my FS/paint computer

Not me ... I reckon Jankees should be getting it ... and maybe even getting paid for doing liveries they could package.

Decent repaints are definitely a selling point - I bought the Alabeo Waco because his ZK-WAC tipped the scale.

JK - colour blind??? I don't believe it! That makes your repaints all the more incredible.

Bother, you chaps are tempting me again. I think that in future you should consider adding a warning on your posts of these new aircraft - sort of 'spoiler alert'

Maybe in this case it should be:
'Danger, temptation alert - post contains high desirability aircraft and consequent potential expense!' biggrin.gif

Superb shots/repaint and aircraft - but I'm on Ian's boat - I'm waiting for the Virtavia Skyhawk (incidentially there is a rumour that there is a non-RNZAF flyer coming to NZ), FR P-40N and Ant's T-28..and possibly the Milviz F-86. I think the KingAir wil tank on my system anyway
