A little Saturday evening music for you, just 44 seconds worth.
This deserves a category of its own, Sound would be more appropriate perhaps.
Turn up the volume.
Louder.

Thanks to Paul (Naki) who got there early and vectored me under the flightpath.

That was great! I should of just sat myself at the end of the runway instead of getting buried amongst the crowd. Nice touch with the 633 Sqn music

Haha well spotted!
The sound was incredible, like a hammer blow when it went overhead.
I suppose throttles would be wide open on takeoff, but even so, it seemed more than twice as a loud as any (single) Merlin I've heard...

I have my JF model unpacked, and a livery of sorts plastered on it... I will be playing Mosquito tomorrow!

I was standing outside the aero club, and saw the Mosquito coming directly at us from behind the building, and I was standing thinking "oh he surely isn't", but sure enough he went straight over the top of us at a height which let's just say was sufficient to cause more than a few people to duck - just amazing!

Yep I guess no-one was going to issue a ticket today...

The Anson looked pretty natty too I thought.
Here's a slightly longer clip starting with the Avro.
Just compare the sound of the 2 aircraft.

Yeah! although I rather fancy the first Mossie shot posed on the lawn... is that not an immaculate aeroplane?
D'you think they synchronise the air screws by hand, or what?

It sure was a low level affair!
Again, I do like the one on the grass.
I have pinched it for my "one day when" repaint of the JF Mossie, along with Adamski's which happily shows the other side of things!
