Postby Timbo » Fri Aug 10, 2012 12:06 pm

Hey all,

I picked the Dodosim 206 as my Flight1 prize, wanted to pop some screenshots up but... there are no NZ repaints? huh? ohmy.gif

Are there some around I have not found yet, or do we need some created? there are cr@p-loads of photos of ZK reg'ed B206 so thats not the problem

Cheers
Tim

Nick 'Chopper nut' would be the avid Dodosim pilot , he would no if any there are paints for it , the 206 has never been one of my faves , maybe the operation and systems are above the most , mentioned the other night the Nemeth CH-53 is notoriously fun in this area , it maybe scared many away .

There has been surprisingly little interest in this model considering its the best chopper for FSX. Well, most realistic anyway.
Their development seems to proceed at a snails pace but if they put out more like this than it is worth the wait, kind of.

I just wish the same care was paid to the likes of the Eurocopters and Bell's that are fairly prolific but little more than glorified eye candy.

There is not much 'interest' in it because there is nothing one can fault in it, thats why, people LIKE to whinge because it makes them feel important and 'worldly', its a common human trait that I have studied and observed, just look at AVSIM forums for an example cheers1.gif

nice repaint Timbo. Yes it is definitely the best helicopter for FSX out there by far. They do have a Huey in development but that is progressing rather slowly. But hopefully one day.
Can I just make an observation on the helisika repaint? It is actually a dark green not black smile.gif

laugh.gif I'd had it that way back in the days with the release of the Nemeth CH-53 .. WHINGE ! this was early/mid SP1/2 FSX install , the dang thing would 'pooh , fart and and jump around ' simply would not work ... welcome to the introduction of SERVICE PACKS .. I love me Stallion - Acceleration no more dung or people not wanting to about my body functions .. Just simply above most people in wanting to go through the procedure , the Bell 206 , well not sure but i can compare the sim different between the Nemeth Huey to the Aerosoft Huey for example .. Nem's for T/O and go and A/S , hang on to your rudder pedals and collective ... this Huey is the one to have cool.gif

Ian, if when they eventually release the Huey you wont know what hit you! you might have to give that Stallion a short rest smile.gif

Timbo, (If only there was a good one for FSX!!) I know what you mean, and the picture on airliners does make it look very dark. Had a look through my pictures to see if I had one of it but I don't. I only have pictures of Ardmore Helicopters jetty. Looks good now nice job!
You'll be sad to know they don't have this helicopter anymore.
