Welcome to the Chateau Airfield, the home of Mountain Air.
The airfield is located on the foothills of Tongariro National Park's, Mount Ruapehu in the central North Island of New Zealand.
Mountain Air, provide tourist scenic flights around the National Park and central North Island volcanoes from this field.

Brilliant stuff Lawrie, much appreciated mate, been buzzing round them both in a chopper this afternoon.
The mountain looks fabulous at this time of the year as a backdrop too
