NZMR for Vector Land Class

One of two free South Island airfields for Vector Land Class, to go with Tim's North Island releases this month. Murchison is a nice little airfield to complement Nelson.
I did plan to visit Murchison township to take photos for a major rural library update, I've even had camping equipment stashed in the car for the last few weeks, but I've been a bit crook. Instead, I've used existing VLC library objects on a nice aerial image courtesy of the Tasman District Council.
Hopefully released this week. This is specifically for use with VLC, but will work with default FSX, and with NZSI. You'll need to have the VLC Libraries latest 1.2 update.
It's definitely best with VLC!

Very impressive! Just the sort of place I like to take my Rapide out of on a low and slow. That scenery looks amazing too, it's not somewhere I've been in real life yet.

Looking forward to it,

Ade

I spend eleven months of the year in the UK and one in NZ. I'm hoping to improve that... ;-)

Wow stunning stuff. Just check out that river. Awesome stuff.

Funnily enough I was going past the airfield two days ago thinking it would be a nice airport to fly to in fs, if a bit challenging with the hill right beside it. cool.gif

I have flown the trusty 172 in there several times in real life. The major issue with this field is the road at the Eastern end? as the road is quite high from the exit to the bridge any truck coming along will cause wake turbulence and or you will leave rubber marks on the roof of the trailer! Great fun place to fly into. Nelson Aero Club holds a fly in in Murch every Feb.

Look forward to trying it out.

Awesome.

Flew a 172 into there in 98 unexpectedly. Forced in due to weather and was stuck in the hotel....Basil and Ceril Faulty's smile.gif for four days.

What an experience. Nice reasturant across the road though.

Memories.

Although not officially released, here's a working version if anyone wants to try it out. 48.5MB download. Read the manual!

(If you've had a beta installed, make sure you delete it first.)

EDIT: now released on the Vector Land Class website.

A fresh install using both VLC fro the North Island and NZSI in the South , this scenery went in with no issue like icing on a cake .

Now for the Rapide .. fast tongue.gif Multiplays , daily airline runs from Nelson to Murchison
