Concorde X

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby AirNewZealandA320 » Sun May 13, 2012 3:09 pm

Hey All,

I got to thinking that it might be nice to add the concorde x to my hangar.

However i have read mixed reviews. So i thought i would ask the great wealth of knowledge here at NZFF.

Can anyone here recommend it?

I have the 2004 version , Al , my brother in OZ gave it the thumbs up for the FSX model - since it was a regular .. buy compare in numbers built to Christchurch and some of the amazing displays , its not a simply just fly in respect to its flight regime , its tricky but a lotta fun .

Been a while since i checked the panels and VC op , they were ..um very sort off , had not progressed from FS9 , possibly i could be wrong , but is now a quiet an old model , id have to return to both , reinstall FS9 and compare recent FSX screens .

Eh? winkyy.gif Concorde built in Christchurch?

@ANZ ... I've been hankering after a *decent* Concorde for FSX for ages. Often looked at ConcordeX but was always put off by the price - particularly as it's getting on the OLD side.

Only buy if you are prepared to but a decent amount of time into it - I got it, but the learning curves is something I haven't been able to get through. Avionics and navigation are just so different from anything i'm used to. Contrast this with the NGX which I jump in and fly no problem at all. For me the Concorde was a wasted $100.
