Middle son suggested we go ....couldn't refuse really

Always liked the lines of the Grumman Cheetah and the RV-3 (now retired and hanging in one of the CF hangars)

The ever present Stearman...had flat battery so wasn't flying

Bit of a surprise was the T-28 (would make a great FSX model)

Ercoupe...new freeware FSX model coming soon (repaint possibilty?)

The two youngest got their Harvard and Tiger Moth ratings... biggrin.gif

...and the two oldest got their Sabre ratings

Some GA stuff..not much flying really depsite the good weather
Paint left over from the Beaver?

The Rena chopper bit far away unfortunatley

Once a Frank Wright rebuild. Like the beaver and all the others he's done,- same scheme.

Off the top of my head (but I'm sure there are more):

C180 BSP

C180 REN

C185 FRW

Beaver CKD

Beaver CCY

Beaver BMF

Beaver CMU

All done in the same colours.

Great photos! I've been for a flight in that particular Grumman, it's not a bad aircraft - the AA-5 is very different to the AA-1 which I'm more familiar with though, much more than just a four seat version, basically a totally different aircraft.

Yeah! all those little Naki's getting their wings (pedals?) early - you'll be old and grey and still be dragged off to see the latest UAV's on offer!
Didn't piglet do a Trojan that works in FSX?

Gosh hope not not re UAVs....hopefully some of the vinatge aircaft are still flying...maybe something like the Grumman Cheetah will be collectors piece then? Skyhawk and Aermacchi are coming....they are apparently going to try and get the Aermacchi airworthy.

T-28...will hunt around and see if I can find Piglets

Just a few more I finally managed to get off the Iphone
