Thanks for the welcome gents smile.gif

Wow that looks great....cant wait. Only thing I would suggest is pitot tube overs, chocks appear and no pilot/passengers when not flying

Thanks for the comments chaps.

Accusim laugh.gif love too, but I think that's a bit beyond my capabilities! Still, the new Accu-feel add-on should be out fairly soon, so that will be good. (http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic....=23&t=28496 if you don't know what I'm talking about winkyy.gif )

Regarding features,

1. Opening cockpit windows. - Done
2. Escape hatch in the roof (if there's a convincing way of modelling it. I think you are meant to just tear it open). - modelled in the interior cabin, bump mapped in the exterior.
3. Opening luggage locker door. - will do.
4. Hope you're keeping on the floatplane variant. Apparently some of the Canadian ones also operated on skis... this would be great, although I've never found a photo of one! - Float model will probably follow, but no ETA.

The leading letter in title= to activate/deactivate various features was very useful so also hope this, or something like it will be carried over into the new version. - Yep, all features will be configurable. I know a better way of doing that now, rather than using code letters laugh.gif

Steps, pitot tube overs, chocks, and no pilot/passengers when not flying - done

I'll annotate the paint kit if I remember!

As I said, old repaints will not work properly, but if any re-painters still have their masters it should be fairly easy to merge them with the new kit for the wings & fuselage, but the engines will have to be mostly redone.

Thanks, Doug thumbup1.gif. Sadly out of date though: "Last Update:- 28 March, 2000" - particularly with respect to ZK-AKU, which appears to have had a few repaints since then!

Oooh! Thanks for those, Paul thumbup1.gif. Do you know where they're based? I quite fancy doing that Swissair one .... and may need more pics! I'll wait till Dave finishes the new model though (which sounds like it's going to be amazing!).

Appears to be in Hastings now (interesting it use to be Belgian Air Force)

The Dragonfly (very rare - only one other flying ) lives at Mandeville near Gore

I'd love to see this one in R.L.!

The repaint looks as if it'd be fairly straightforward (famous last words!).

A thought , we should ask Dave permission to put NZFF members faces in the passenger cabin .. every paint a different position in the plane as you Tiki tour the rural strips biggrin.gif

I could do that as part of the repaint(s) procedure ... no need to drag Dave away from his coding bench laugh.gif

Just a quick note, don't get carried away repainting the passengers, as they may change.

Thanks, Dave ... I'm sitting tight till your new version goes public winkyy.gif

No rush - plenty of things to do in the meantime ... like re-do my screenshot comp entry, seeing as Matthw has just posted an absolute corker!

Quick update, I've posted some preview pics on the first 7 paint schemes over on the CBFS forums: Rapide preview pics

I've got another 4 in the pipeline, and there will of course be a paint kit.
