Awesome indeed..presumably you didn't fly from NZ to Hamilton Island non stop in ECO? Charter flight within Australia?

Nah flew WLG-ZQN-SYD and then the following day on to Hamilton Island, I went as far as Sydney but sadly by the time this video was being filmed I was back in Wellington

Looks like a hell of ride .. strap everything down and hold on , many years ago , they had a 30 min doco on similar sort of thing TV-1/NZBC .. 1969/1970 using a Constellation , anyone recall it .
