Ham , to your knowledge , was Hamilton this busy with the UHs pre the closer of the South Island bases .. Wigram was No.3 s home , course always had activity but today over the months nothing .

they were More regularly when they based out of Hobsonville, biggest formation to pass threw Ham I've seen was an 8 ship looked pretty cool with huey's filling the apron and starting up at the same time, also use to get iroquois passing threw on the occasion, with the crewman sitting in the co-pilots seat.

Hard to believe , in civil guise known to be a 15 seat utility helo , with the RNZAFs jobbies they really do look cramped with 5 even when carrying a little gear with them .
