In theory it should be a blast, I am worried a little about the lag, I get .240 to .250 ping in WOT and its acceptable with tanks but maybe not with planes, but if its anything like WOT you can play it for free to find out

... Just got my E-75 the other day, oh boy that thing is fun!, and I highly recommend the AMX 13-75/90, they have a fast loading clip of 6 (75mm/90mm) shells so you just have to get round the back of a tank and boom boom boom boom till hes dead smile.gif

I hadn't really noticed anything until yesterday..... all my shells seemed to be arriving on target way late and manoeuvring was just a nightmare.....

For me it does depend where I'm sitting in the house- The wireless router sits downstairs and if I'm upstairs it can add around 150ms ping to my baseline of around 250ms. At 400ms it's pretty much unplayable as you need to try and hit the keys a half second before the task you want to achieve...

Do you guys use CapsLock+0 ? do this at the start of the round and it gives you a blue reticule that represents what the 'server' thinks your pointing at, its very handy for leading shots on moving targets

The lag for me is fine at 250ms, it sometimes jumps up to 270-280ms but mostly I'm used to it, but I would only use a hard Ethernet connection for FPS anyway

My current fav tanks, Batchat and GW-Tiger...... I cop so much abuse from my victims with these two tanks its almost not funny (lol)

The Bat churns around at 65km and has an autoloader clip-fed-gun which lets you shoot off 6 shots fast, this tank is probably the best fun I've had yet due to its playstyle.... its is a pure hunter-killer-opportunist

And the GW-tigger... wub.gif with 1800-2500 damage per shot I get a lot of one-shot-kills

Yeah in the GW-Tiger the one thing I fear the most is the Counter-fire from the OPFOR arty, the GW is really slow to get moving, these days if you dont move the moment you fire your tracers get spotted and BOOM gone

Chaffes damn annoying sometimes, but the crown for annoying goes to the T-50-2, hehehe I'm getting one next happy.gif

Youd be suprised- A good driver in a light/med tank can hound a larger tank to death if given a chance (i.e. get him alone and with space to drive around him)- The larger tank wont be able to turn is turret fast enough to get you and you can attack his weak areas (back, sides etc)

I just bought a T-34....I'm enjoying my fast mediums at the moment although my IS with the 122mm can be good if you hang back from the action a bit and get a chance to reload.

DOOOOOOOOD!!! That's a real gem. I just owned Mines in the Tetrarch driving around like a madman capping ppl as I went. I feel like a cheat!!

Love the sound of the Batchat....... will have to research and have a look!! I've got 175,000 XP in the Tetrarch that I'll have to buy gold for to convert, and 2mil in credits.......... almost there...........
