Masteron Terminal

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

I have about three projects on the go at the moment, and this is probably the most completed as yet (others are pretty big jobs). I know there is an NZMS project ongoing here somewhere (NZ255's i think) but I noticed a bit of a gap, for those who are keen on short commercial hops Masterton is a must I reckon with the NZAA -NZMS route.

There has been extensive use of the vlc libraries on the apron aswell as custom terminal and car park. Still alot to go though

Great stuff LF- This is what the VLC libraries are all about: Cutting down the amount of work required to make a decent NZ airfield.

With your modelling skills taking on the 'unique' bits and libraries filling the 'standard' bits, we'll fill our country in no-time smile.gif

Well done New_Zealand_etc.gif

Cheers Timmo, the library objects really liven the place up, and fill the gaps my modelling skills are shy of able to.

Looking at your fence shots- they look to be slightly out of alignment- Did you know that if you use Whisplacer to place your objects, you can use the line tool to place objects (such as fences) along that line with no gaps? Very handy smile.gif

I redid almost everything today as it was all peeving me off! At the moment I'm using ADE and fence placement and the like can be extremely frustrating and tedious. So I'll give Whisplacer a go! And may I say the fences in the VLC object library are great! They really give that "kiwi airfield" effect. Cheers Timmo

Yup Ade isn't the best for that but it is good for getting the main things in place. I usually get the hangers and main things placed with ADE then ensure the option is ticked to save the objects in a different file, open that file in whisplacer and do things like fences and vegetation tweaks in that (save as a different file name in case you need to further tweak the facilities data in ade)

All the thanks needs to go to Robin for these models! They really are top notch smile.gif
