unsure.gif I am re-posting this under Technical Issues (was under FSX!) as I only got 1 response re the HDD

Am looking at a partial upgrading of my PC and considering the following.................
Gigabyte GA-Z68M-D2H-B3 Motherboard
Intel i7-2600k 3.40GHz CPU
8 gig DDR3 memory
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium (or Professional)
Intel 320 40GB SATA2 SSD (looks like I need to increase this)

I am hoping to use my other existing components...........
Good size Case
Existing optical drives
Existing 650gig & 500 gig HHD
550Watt Power Supply
Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 with 896 on board

Would be interested in feedback as to
1) do you think FSX would run well on this set-up?
2) suggestions as to what changes members would recommend?

Many thanks in advance smile.gif

Personally I would swap the 2600k for a 2500k and upgrade your graphics card.
One quick question, what brand is the power supply?
Other than that, a solid system that should run FSX well.
Intel Core i7 870 @ 3.90Ghz
8GB Corsair Dominator @ 1790mhz CL8 8-8-8-21
P55-GD65
Corsair H80
Two HD 7950 Vapor X cards in Crossfire
40GB Intel 320 SSD
1TB WD Caviar Blue
150GB WD Velociraptor
Corsair 400R
Seasonic 850W 80+ Gold Modular PSU
3 x Samsung Syncmaster 22" LED 1920x1080P
