Hi All,

Just wondering on AA and the shadows cast on the Aircraft by itself. Great plane little noisy and pulls to the right even without wind it seems, but enjoying it.
Question is.. Why does it seem the shadows on the plane itself are not quite as good quality as the shadows on the ground. Is it part of the model or am I missing something. Engine shadow is quite jagged compared to the ground shadow.

Hmm not sure- as a guess, I would say this isn't specific to this aircraft and probably affects all FSX aircraft. Since the shadow on the ground is cast on a flat surface, it is higher quality compared to the aircraft self shadows which have to be resolved on a curved/flat/variable surface?
The shadowing engine in FSX is a bit mish mash it seems.

They are the pretty Citations , Steve Fossett had one and it almost lived in Christchurch , pity his death - always kept the private aviator in the news .
