The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Postby hoki1185 » Sun Jan 01, 2012 7:17 pm

As an an older guy I have the means to indulge myself in this hobby but not the technical skills to fully integrate a significant library of software and hardware into the complete package. It means a lot tome to be able to achieve FSX nirvana or close to it.I'm a PPL so not a complete aviation novice,so if you think you might fit this description and live in the Christchurch, feel free to PM me and I will reward for the skills that I would like to have for myself.

I have received several replies to my request but am unable to reply to their PMs and message comes up "We could not find any matches for the members names ypu entered into the carbon copy box. Please check the input etc etc this even though the senders name and intended recipient's name appear in the box above my PM reply.Would have directed this enquiry direct to the moderator but can't find an option for doing this.

Hi there Hoki

Just click "Reply" to the PM, and the member's name will be automatically entered into the Recipient field.

There's no need to cc any other names into the carbon copy box, unless of course you want to reply to all who PM'd you at once. In that case, you have to type (or even better copy and paste) the member's name exactly as it is on the forum in the box, pressing enter after each name. Personally I would just reply to each PM individually. You caould copy and paste your response text into the message field of each PM you sent if you want.
