Hi Folks,

does anyone know if there is an 'Air New Zealand' repaint for the recently released Wilco 737 Evolution by any chance?

thanks Dave

Hey Dave, AFAIK there is no repaint kit avail yet, cant see any sign of one on my PC, and have asked in the feelthere forum and no luck. Let me know if you do find one, I'd certainly be happy to do the repaint

It is nice to see so many dedicated still to the 737 , i have just left Queenstown in the , my PMDG 73, but i'm sure Wilco is a good equal .

The reason I like it Ian is that the Wilco 'Evo' still gives you the opportunity to fly the 300 series which I guess will still be in our sky for a few years yet.

Had a good start at this tonight, everythings more or less in place, need to fiddle with fine placement, scale a few things, sort out some window placements, and want to add some weathering and have a version with the PacificWave. The underbelly colour needs lightening and theres some misc detail missing for cargo doors and various wee external features that arent in the repaint kit so am gonna add those. Should have it sorted over the weekend. Here's a WIP shot..

Right, repaints finished, ended up doing one with the Pacific Wave, and one without, lots of tweaks to improve the overall finish and make it look less stark, and more gritty, and added some panels/doors on the real-world AirNZ aircraft and removed details that arent on them, should be up on avsim.com shortly. Thanks heaps to Frosty and Steve for helping out with testing of the textures thumbup1.gif ..

Great work Dean- Is the window detail in the paint kit or model? (specifically, the indents around each piece of glass?)

Yeah there's model detail in the windows which means I couldnt get rid of the two emergency door outlines in the middle of the fuselage, you can still see them if you zoom in
Bit of a pain really, but I can see why a modeller might want to show detents in the surface etc
