An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby rich12545 » Tue Oct 25, 2011 3:37 pm

I downloaded a ton on NZ sceneries and am installing them. Looking at an addon for Christchurch. This was in the readme.

Christchurch International Airport for FS2004.

This scenery is a Update another rebuild of NZCH , . Most Structures are actual photo real ,
Also buildings designed to fit within photoreal 'nzscenery.com ' .
After u have installed the Christchurch/Canterbury 200Meg file

NZscenery.com appears to be DOA. Looks like a nice scenery. Does anyone know where I can download it?

You're right. It would be nice to update. Unfortunately some of us aren't rich and can't afford a spiffy new computer let alone having to buy all that payware software again.

So you think there's no way to get that scenery?

The NZScenery , It was a huge D/load but i believe i have it on disk here and i sure as heck i wont use it , the other which was the Original Christchurch Scenery produced by Godzone and one i prefer , this would require permission from Robin Corn for myself to copy .

Since you prefer that one I probably would too. I recently purchased the FS9 package so he might be inclined to give permission and it could be emailed to me. If it's not being sold perhaps putting it on flightsim, avsim or Snowman's site would work? If he doesn't give permission, perhaps putting the other one on a site would be ok? Or just emailed to me?

Hi.

Hope you haven't forgotten about me. Just wondering if you were able to get hold of either of the Christchurch sceneries?

Ian, that's one of my favorite sites and I didn't see anything on that site that refers to a current Christchurch city.

Dorian, thanks but I've been there. Two links and both are dead. I wrote to him this morning and hopefully he'll have something.

I would think that somebody somewhere has a copy of this scenery.

Thanks but that's for FSX. I have FS9. What I'm looking for is the older Christchurch/Canterbury scenery originally by NZScenery (now defunct).

I think prity much dead as for d/load but myself would have it filed away somewhere then will require burn and send , think the only way to get the file now or another may have it one who is closer to the FS2004 simmers .

No need to burn and send. There are several free download services available on the internet. Simple to take one out and upload.

Considering the scenery is available for download on Snowman's site, wouldn't it be simpler to just email Laurie and advise him the link is broken?

I did that yesterday and am waiting to hear back from him. But if he doesn't have a copy of the scenery I'm out of luck.

I just heard back from Lawrie and he doesn't have the file, lost it in a hard drive crash some years ago.

Is there ANYBODY who still has the Christchurch/Canterbury photoreal scenery and can simply email it to me?????

Please.

Hello,

I'm still looking for the fs9 sceneries made by nzscenery. Christchurch/Canterbury & Hamner. I guess nobody here still has them to send.

However, I just found the name of the scenery designer is Keith Wells. Does anyone have an email for him or a way to reach him?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
