Real Nz/vlc Nelson Available For Pre-pay

The official REAL NZ support forum

Postby toprob » Wed Oct 26, 2011 2:36 pm

This is getting very close to release, so here's the chance to organise buying it before the rush. Pre-pay and save 20% -- normally NZ$35.
Any questions, just ask here or via my site.

Full pre-pay details are given within the Store, but here's a quick sum-up:

Pre-payment is the those who are 100% confident that you'll get their money's worth out of a new Real New Zealand scenery, and are happy to organise purchase at their leisure before the mad rush. Plus it's a way to save a few dollars, not to mention supporting Godzone Virtual Flight.

Pre-paid orders will be made available ahead of the official release, but boxed versions will be a week or two later. You can pre-order a disc, and receive the discount, but only download orders will be available early.

There is no official release date at present, but I estimate 2 to 3 weeks at the most.

Visit the Godzone Store by clicking on the signature banner for details of the scenery, including screenshots, and to pre-pay.

Sweeet!

Please make it compatible for Orbx NZ South (when it's released). Would be cool with some PeopleFlow, 3d grasses etc. biggrin.gif

Orbx don't allow these things to be used in anything but their own scenery, so that isn't going to happen. However, I do have my eye on some more open systems to add to Nelson and other Real NZ airports in the long-term.

Incidentally, there's nothing inherent about Real NZ Nelson which would make it incompatible with Orbx South Island, we'll just have to wait and see.

"Thank You! We Appreciate your Business!"

Robin you are MOST welcome. Thank you for your hard work on NZ in simulation.
Looking forward to release day now! smile.gif

Robin, I realise your screenshots are only beta, but do you think there would be any way to put the tv transmitter on hill above Nelson? It's quite the local landmark. Maybe even just a generic library object perhaps rather than model your own. Just wondering! I can't complain really, you've even modelled the building I work in biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Which reminds me, I hope to have a working version installed at the Simpit simulator in time for the get-together at Nelson. I was hoping to be there, but I won't be able to take a break until later in the month. Then I'll need a holiday, away from airports...

Robin.
Thanks for some great scenery. Order is in.... Yehaa!. Awesome about Simpit being operational before the get together. Gives us another reason to go to the sim on Sunday. Shame you can not join us.
Thanks again.

Looks like it’s up to the usual extremely high standards of Real NZ products, Robin. But with that product brand name you’ve set a high benchmark. groupwave.gif

I’ve put it my diary to do on the weekend since I'm still working at the moment and want to get to bed at some stage tonight.
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

It really is looking fantastic Robin- I'll also wait and pay full price I think....otherwise I'll spend all my time flying around Nelson rather than finishing Opotiki!
