That is amazing piloting , I wondered why do not use the sky hook set up to capture the helo with its on cable to with a winch on the ship to adjust the datum for conditions shown , maybe the deck is simply to small in this case , i sure as hell would not want to walk to plug it in .
As far as the Lynx crew are concerned you would want to end up it that swell , be bloody cold and you easy disappear , I'm sure this must be the Danish Navy , the depth off the hull compared to the length is very deceptive , fishing boat hull modified , British Island class was the first with the concept , now paid and your anti whale hunting use it .

There are some excellent night t/o and landing at Mexico City in his portfolio too

We , least i,m really are going to miss the Shuttles , We even had a large NZ contingent 'US Space Camp' lead by a former Annsett air stewardess here in Christchurch , met two shuttle drivers and course 'Buzz Aldrin' only due to Wanaka and involved with displays .
Nice find Charl smile.gif

Thought this was neat. Hopefully anyone in that area enjoyed it! (Didn't realize snow was very rare in Wellington...)

Pretty impressive, being able to start shooting in the heat of the moment and still be able to get quality footage. cool.gif

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Ok, I think this is awesome, but that may be a bit of parental pride...
My son's Colombia video montage:
Incidentally, this is one of the things I was thinking of in the recent SLR thread, when I mentioned how versatile today's SLRs are -- this is shot using a Canon 60D, which is certainly not an overly expensive camera.

Should be viewed full screen/at least 720p
