I thought ANZ were the launch customer.........reckon captainsim would do a damm fine job of the dreamliner as well thumbup1.gif

Air NZ was the 2nd customer and was joint launch customer with ANA for the 787 and orginally ordered the 787-8.

Air NZ then changed their order later to the 787-9 and was the first customer for this model...they will get their 787s later as the 787-9 has yet to fly.

And about 12 hours after the delivery flight set off there came the news story about an ANA airliner plunging upside down over Japan as per this thread. Had to read halfway down the article to find it was a 737 about a month ago and it went over because in the dark the FO hit the wrong button trying to let the Captain back in from the toilet ... :-)
