It's boosted their captive audience from just aviation enthusiasts, to aviation enthusiasts + Females between the age of 14-45. biggrin.gif

They have a website too:

http://www.flightpathtv.com/

So if you missed the first one last night, or don't have access to Discovery, head there and watch some of the videos...

Cool! Unfortunately I don't get it here in the US. We have the Discovery channel, but apparently US audiences are only interested in their stupid reality shows....

So you get "Swamp Loggers," "Dual Survival," and many many "Dirty Jobs" re-runs? tongue.gif

I don't even watch Discovery or History Channel anymore. At least in the US, both are about 95% "realty" shows at this point, which is both sad and strange. I know that there are days where the History Channel doesn't even have "history" shows on it, just logging reality shows and similar fare.

This sums up our history channel, and is close to summing up Discovery for us as well:

EDIT: Just checked and all day yesterday, today, and tomorrow is PURELY History's realty shows, like "Top Shot" and "Pawn Stars". Also, all but two shows for Discovery are auction house "reality" shows for the same time period.

The flip side is that the "history channel airs this cr@p because thats all people want to watch. If the screened worthwhile documentorys and content that one might learn somthing from then there ratings would plumet. Its a sad but true fact that a good proportion of the global population have turned into a bunch of homer simpsons that only care about themselves and thrive on consumerism and reality TV.

The real sad fact about history is that people forget it. Looking back in time could be like looking into the future because all our so called leaders are making the same stupid mistakes over and over agin. For most TV is a mindless escapism from the sick reality.

Hey isnt thsi a flight sim forum? Forgive my ranting tongue.gif
