P51 flight

I'd like to share a video of an experience that one of the Kiwisim IL2 guys had when in the USA last year - a flight with Stallion51 in Orlando Florida. Shane / Jaster was on the controls for most of the flight including the landing, the set up is awesome, with multiple cameras and voice from the pilot, Shane and ATC. Original KiwiSim Post

It's 45 minutes long but worth the watch.

I do like the atc and comms and camera angles. Real immersive, Yeah the comment at the end regarding the landing (43:25) was awesome huh. I feel I am taking someone else's thunder but I'm sure sharing this is all cool.

Here's an excerpt from an email that Shane received when he enquired before his trip...

The current contribution for the One-hour Orientation Flight is $3,150.00 or $2,350.00 for the Half-hour Orientation Flight. We also have available our Gift Certificate Program for that special someone who has always dreamed of flying the P-51 Mustang.

We have a state of the art digital video system installed with three cameras, which are located on the vertical stabilizer, left horizontal and a glareshield-mounted camera to record your flight. Along with the digital video of your flight at no charge to you, the package also includes a pre-flight briefing, aircraft walk-around, cockpit briefing, de-briefing, 8X10 photo and certificate. You will be encouraged to fly the Mustang over 90% of the time and no previous flight experience or aviation background is required.
