Absolutely, the Orion is an interesting aircraft - born out of the Lockheed Electra (the first big US made turboprop, I believe). Doesn't seem to be much of a decent replacement for it's patrol/search and rescue roles, the slower speed (than a jet) and the ability to shutdown an engine and loiter for hours seems to count in it's favour.

Dash 8 doing a missed approach ham this morning due to fog(dunno if the intention was to land or just check the viz on the go around as it was in line with CTC not the runway) then by the time it did a circuit the fog cleared and it landed

Actually Ham , this is one regular in the skies i cant wait to get a good FSX model , course the PMDG is the one to get but we have so many airports that are serviced by the type , be great to try our hand at putting it into Hamilton or most the regional spots in FS .
