As a concept it sounds awesome! I'm a big fan of Bohemias previous releases and have often thought how cool it would be to able to fly over, say, an Arma2 Environment but with proper flight dynamics. I'll watch this with interest.

I asked a similar question over at hovercontrol and believe or not they are not aloud too reproduce the MD500 or Bell because of copy write issues, hence the location of the horizontal stabs on the tail boom and the EC looking skids and the strange looking Bell 412.
Apart from that the game has potential, look forward to its release and subsequent reviews to see if its worth buying.

You would be surprised... one developer got sued for modeling aircraft from WWII... might have been the developers of IL2, if I remember correctly.

I agree doesn't make any sence at all, a MD500 just isn't a MD500 with out all the bits in the right place, be like Pamela Anderson not have all her bits in the right place Haha

There'll be open beta for TOH in a week or so for those who have Operation Arrowhead.

Bohemia have made a few really good games like arma 2 (there is quite a bit of aviation in it). but this one could go 50/50 i think.

Their missions are quite awesome in OA so it will be immersive and entertaining. Sim includes a walk around and devs mentioned checking for birds nests. I'm hoping it will be compatible with OA in MP as it would be cool to use both combined or even Arma3.
