The pin checking in...thanks Connor.
What a day....when the first one hit i was up on the wing of the skyhawk scraping off the last of the spraylat, and didn't really notice....could have been the MEK fumes of course blink.gif
Second one arrived , and i was under the aircraft....and she was jumping up and down....saw the hanger doors moving...ground was rolling....S***......and out on the airfield dozens of rabbits jumping out of holes and going all over the place laugh.gif ......or maybe that was MEK fumes as well.

Have a liitle mud in the house again, but confined to the back porch (but inside ) area....all cleaned out now, and some new cracks in my room....a few things on the deck, but all ok otherwise.

But hey, life go's on....no point in dwelling on it for to long. We have 3 more days to get the skyhawk ready for the public....and its going to be hard work. Im taking a camera in the morning so I'll get you all some pickys.

Thanks again Connor for your thoughts....you other red and blacks....hang in there, anything you need , just pm me.

SP.

Yeah, a freaky day, I'm glad that nobody was hurt this time around.

I've been lucky with the previous quakes, lots of mess but no real damage. This time was a bit different, lots of electronic stuff took some real tumbles, the power has only just come back on, so I'll need to check everything tomorrow.

When the first one hit today I was working on some Nelson airport textures, and suddenly realised that I hadn't saved anything for a long time -- luckily the power stayed on, and I was able to save the morning's work. I was planning to make some real progress this week, so I'm already half a day behind. Still, it could be a lot worse. Hopefully no interruptions tomorrow....

Brother stopped in 30 minutes ago , he was finishing a job on site at South Shore during the quake , the liquid sand 'mush' said just bloody stinks , raw sewer weeping out the ground , think the entire eastern city wants to pack up and move away .

Ugh. Don't envy you guys one bit, and have nothing but admiration for you for having the nads to stick it out down there.

Connor, have you guys got your own house back or are you still packed in like sardines ?

Just saw a briefing on TVone. Good job I'm not deaf. At least 2 ignorant pr**ks had their mikes blocking out the signer's hands and lips.
