Looks bloody awesome ROB
Didn't take me long to figure out where it was I learned to fly there back in the early 50s the old Tiger Moth and Auster days
OK it has changed quite a bit since those days last time I flew in there was about 6 yrs ago in the back seat of a Nanchang

My home town airport. I'd be in heaven to have a real nz version. Thank you Rob.

Unfortunately missing the new Air Nelson hanger at present winkyy.gif (not sure if you know of it. FYI it shows up on google earth if you need)

Talk about great minds think alike! I was just thinking yesterday as I was flying into a certain airport, how great it would be for a decent scenery. thumbup1.gif

Ok, this is going ahead at full speed. I've got the aerial images tidied up, masked and placed, and at the moment I'm in Nelson for a few days taking photos. It's raining. I thought Nelson was meant to be sunny?
Here's some early screenshots...

No Ian, I live in Nelson these days since I got work in at the port (only a 5 min commute now days, unlike CHCH). I lived in Richmond a few months on my return.
And Robin, again, I'm sorry about the weather!! What a rubbish day up here.

But, I much prefer the magic views of sunny Nelson in your shots! Great work. Can't wait to explore.

Chopper I never even knew that was there. Might have to go have a look at it smile.gif
