Due to a unfortunate set of circumstances....this previously planned payware but unfinished model has become available for free..I haven't tried it myself but might be good for this months screen comp...a payware version is coming later

So many put so much in , some expect more , hence programs , projects and models die , lucky i stick to freeware in saying that , helping designers , you get more appreciation from all sides and after all its a hobby .

Sounds like a very sour way to conduct business! I downloaded it and as it says its not complete nor completely textured so unless anybody is really keen to have a look, like I was, then I would not waste the 100MB download. Although the VC was OKish, I didn't think it was not up to payware standard in its current form unless they planned on improving the textures. I can only hope and assume the new project guys will improve on this. Will try to post screens later.

A couple of screens. My computer was struggling a bit. Then I looked at the textures and found they used 4096 x 4096 pixel textures !! One of those is equal to 16 standard 1024 x 1024 textures. The externals and modelling is pretty darn good. But as I commented previously the VC is not as good as the rest. Also a lack of attention to detail - for instance when you open the doors (which are hinged at the bottom) the red lever at the bottom of the door operates. This is actually an emergency handle which pulls the hinge wire free so the doors fall off! The normal opening handle should be at the top of the door !!

Looks alright, but just as naki said the Cresco sounds better, from what people have posted. It is a shame thought that people still get into legal technicalities even in flightsim. sad.gif

Talk about going down in flames sad.gif
What a shame. That project had a lot of potential.
