Charl , Wigram Reopen for Flight Sim , never ever close that , our first international airport .

Well before the bulldozers finish their work, I suppose I'd better slip this one in then.
As mentioned earlier, Wigram is my staging post for AI Warbirds performing elsewhere.
In this case the BOB team...but that didn't stop them doing a victory roll or three back at base.

Thanks Paul, RW issues have intruded so it will rest for a while.
Also, I need to paint up a plane before the next stop!

OK time to back up a step, haul out the old Cessna, and go puddle-jumping...

Just brilliant stuff - well done Charl. And such nice sceneries. Mucho credit to the guys who made them too!

There are so many people who've done so much to add to this hobby, I would not even try to unpick my sim to identify who did what where.
But in NZ I reckon it all comes together especially well ...hence the "Postcards" theme to advertise that fact via the G.E. kmz file.

One last hop up the coast with this fine product of Carenado (Let's face it, if you're going to sit behind a single fan, there's no better), then we'll go across that rugged backbone of the country, to the east again.

Just a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down...(was that movie really that long ago? I can remember most of the lyrics!)

ZK-NAA was applied to several NZ planes, including a Twin Comanche like this. Colours not quite authentic, but this is my sim, remember?
So with the comfort of twin engines, we take on possibly the most rugged part of NZ.
I've never flown here in the sim, talk is there are still Moas walking around down there...

Hi Charl, Are you running FS9 or FSX. I am thinking FS9 because I havnt seen any of that scenery before in FSX? Great shots. If that is FS9 man youve got that looking good.

AJ I have what the diehards call FS9.5
For this install I used mostly payware but you can get pretty far with freeware too.
There are so many addons available, that there would probably not be a single stock FS9 item left in the sim!

I just loved re-installing NZ, and finding places I'd never flown.
On which topic:

Man that is some rugged terrain...arriving at probably the first "Real" addon scenery I ever installed, Godzone Kaikoura.

Looks like Carenado's come up with a pretty little twin for you...

Meantime, something a little more appropriate to the task in hand:

...and a last flight of the day, hoping to see one last Big One

Now up the coast and into Marlborough Country.
Arguably one of the best sceneries available to flight simmers - it has everything: a giant photoreal playground, no less than three (very different) airports, and a seaport thrown in.
Just the spot to go for a play with Sir Peter's bunch of Flying Hobbits
