To the neigh sayers that jumped in with all the negativity they could carry, all I can say is I am some what shocked that after a thread of this nature posted here
http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13576 talking about nurturing and backing developers to just turn around and shoot the product down.

Who would have thought something like a 5mtr mesh for the price of a coffee and cake would end up trashed and locked.

Pete -- as I said earlier, there is a good amount of suspicion now regarding any new release out of the blue. This follows a run of phoney releases, which have included GEX textures repackaged as 'Real NZ', Tim's mesh released in someone else's name, my own Supercity autogen 'borrowed'. I think that those who were quick to rally behind these releases ended up somewhat embarrassed that they had been taken advantage of, and they are understandably careful with anything new.
I have been is a bit of trouble before for having to break the news that these are not always legitimate releases, and it was partly these accusations that I was not supporting developers which led to me resigning from administering the forum. But you will find that a lot of members are not able to support all new developers as whole-heartedly as you hope for. We will, however, get fully behind all legitimate releases.
In this case, there was a bit of added drama which I'll deal with in another post, so this thread went super-heated in no time. That's when moderators step in, and Naki did a great job of tidying things up.
Please give a bit of slack to everyone here, there is normally a good reason why most members behave the way they do.
