What did you use to model it?
It looks like you might have normals flipped -- you could try flipping them back.

Used gmax. I thought about the normals so checked and they werent flipped. I actually went though and deleted everything except one untextured box, loaded that up in fsx and it still did it...got me beat.

In an exercise of frustration, I built the base of the tower from scratch again and tried to duplicate where I went wrong, but I can't (bangs head on desk) and it looks fine.....im going to the beach! Think I will sort it out in 2011. Have a happy New Year everyone!

Quick update for those of you who might be waiting for this.

Finished all the structures, just a bit of texturing to do and a few other goodies and greenery to add in. Took two weeks to figure out how to get the apron lighting to work right which slowed me up some. Want to get this done by end of Jan, but also don't want to see the summer slip by!

Great to see it released Craig, Im pleased to contribute to it! I havnt quite got the AI working properly yet so might need to have another go at that but other than that its working perfect. Good to see those little things fixed in the release.

Thanks very much for the time and effort you have put into NZNV, I hope everyone enjoys it.
