I am running all fsx settings maxed out and have also loaded the new wellington mesh

Hi Savern , currently in beta testing , may be a little slow at my end since pc did funky chicken last week , I think after the amount off scenery you have done and know the area well think maybe best you contact Tim to test this region out .

The blue textures are explained in this thread.
I've just recently been looking at redoing NZWN for VLC, using a new aerial image, so this would be fixed at that time.
Are you talking about default Paraparaumu as it appears in VLC, or my Paraparaumu airport?

Hi Savern
Do you plan to update your Maui scenery for FSX at all.

Cheers

Yourr REAL nz paraparaumu which came on your CDROM which i purchased ages ago .. only just got around to installing it finally !!!

You do have a small ppmin.bgl ( elevation correction ) which is put into world/scenery .. i took that out and elevation went crazy so i put it back and runway is about 5-10 ft too low .( see my ppicture link in previous post ) . think it only requires a small adjustment to that ppmin.bgl file to get paraparaumu runway sitting nicely with VLC installed .
Anyway great scenery work Robbo light years ahead of my striggling attempts back in the 90's . Amazing how far we have come. cheers

The VLC patch will determine the final elevation, so the VLC Airports release shortly will include NZNP. In fact it should be easy enough to repackage that as a VLC airport, as only the elevation needs to change.

Thanks for your comments -- however your various addons were a big factor for me, and showed what was possible by thinking outside the box. At the time the little touches you included were quite an eye-opener for me, and without those I wouldn't have seen the possibilities.

Mean!....using the same imagery that's in Google Earth?

How's your modeling hand feeling?

Or they are reverting back to the way Wellington looked back in 1986 .... theme back then , it looked like old barracks bolted together , now going back to the stone age laugh.gif

Yes, a bit more expensive to buy the distribution rights, but still a nice image, and looks good in FSX...
