POSKY, Part II

Read and report on flightsim developers progress of upcoming or completed products

Postby Charl » Sat Nov 27, 2010 7:23 am

Just as we were talking about it, POSKY splits up and members start to regroup.
Everybody is aghast, but of course, life goes on, witness Project AI and the good that eventually came of its many woes.
I just hope the 787 does make it out as an FS9-also project in some form.

Meantime...this ANZ paint popped up on their excellent B777-300.
Has it been delivered yet? it's due around now IIR.
Not too sure about the new livery without the Wave

Great model, lots of attention to detail.
See how the ailerons droop together with flaps out

It tends to fly nose-up, and approaches nose-down while flying straight past the localiser!
I always end up manually landing the thing.
Maybe the New Group will finally sort the FDE

I've seen that picture! just can't quite place it.

But, you know, there will be this really big guy, totally blocking the aisle roughly midpoint over Cook Strait, insisting he jam his oversize hand baggage into the overhead locker, but it won't quite fit...

Cheers Alister, if I'd known that, I might've gone round and done it again...without the little bounce!

As I said...life goes on, and it does so at the FSPro Site whose name I also find more palatable than the old.
A portent I hope of great things yet to come.

Your screenshots made me want to install that 777 winkyy.gif thumbup1.gif so ...

All looks pretty good so far! Which 3D cockpit did you install? Is there an FMC for this one?

Bearing in mind mine is an FS9 install...the VC comes with the model - if you know which bits to put in.
Having said that, "building" a POSKY plane requires a measure of patience I don't usually have, so I usually go looking on AVSIM or wherever for a repaint that also includes a fully-blown model with updates and VC.
Then I install the repaint of choice over that.
There's no functional FMC, I don't know of any freeware one.

The FDE is also slightly dicky, I've just downloaded the Version "G" update from the FSPro site, perhaps it works at last.
