A couple of discounts at Captain Sim

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Chairman » Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:40 pm

Just got an email telling me that the 707 basepack is 20 euros off, sure enough it's down from 60 euros to 40 euros. While I was checking that out I noticed the 727-100 basepack is half price, down from 60 euros to 30 euros.

[edit] 60 euros was the release price for the 707, this is 20 euros total off not 20 on top of the previous 10 [/edit]

In real money that's 67-ish bucks for the 707 (it was $102 when it came out) and 50-ish for the 727.

Doesn't seem to be any indication of whether these are price drops or limited time discounts, but I'm not aware of it being a holiday weekend in the states so maybe a price drop ?

Gary

Thanksgiving is only 10 days away and that's normally a sale weekend for CS, we'll see what happens then. If they don't have a big sale I might just have to pay the 40 euros.

Great, thanks Ian. I just went for a quick spin in it before, first impressions are good. I only got the baser pack, seems to have enough to play with there for now! Just trying to stabilise my monitor after the last wee shake. Thought it added some realism to the experience, lol! biggrin.gif
